Privacy Policy

What TradeX AI collects when you visit or register, what it is used for, who it is shared with and the choices you have.

This policy applies to the TradeX AI website and platform. It is written for people in Canada and follows the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

01Definitions

In this policy, "we", "us" and "TradeX AI" mean the operator of this website and platform. "You" means the person who visits the site, registers or contacts us. "Service" means the website, the platform and the support we provide through them.

02Personal data

Personal data is information that identifies you or can be used to identify you. At registration we collect your first name, last name, email address and phone number. Later, for verification and support, we may also hold your date of birth, address, identity documents, payment details and the content of your messages to us.

03Usage data

When you visit, our servers record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you open, the time you spend on them and the page you came from. We use this to keep the site working, to detect abuse and to understand which pages are useful.

04Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and functional cookies to remember preferences. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work as intended.

05Who is responsible for your data

TradeX AI decides why and how your personal data is processed and is therefore responsible for it. Some service providers process data on our instructions, and they are bound by contract to protect it. Questions to our privacy contact can be sent to [email protected].

06Collection and use of information

We use your information to respond to your requests, to open and run your account, to arrange the call from your account manager, to carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks, to meet legal obligations, to protect the platform from fraud and to improve our services. We collect only what we need for these purposes.

07Legal bases and your consent

In Canada, we rely mainly on your consent, which you give when you submit the registration form, and on what is necessary to provide the service you asked for. We also process data where the law requires it, for example for record keeping under anti-money-laundering rules, and where we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

08Retention of data

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. Registration and contact details are kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards. Identity and transaction records are kept for the minimum period that Canadian law requires. After that, data is deleted or made anonymous.

09Transfer of data

Some of our providers, for example hosting or identity-verification services, may store or process data outside your province or outside Canada. Where that happens, your information may be accessible to courts and authorities in those places, and we require providers to apply protection comparable to what Canadian law expects.

10Disclosure of data

We share personal data only where it is necessary: with the licensed entity that carries out a transaction for you, with affiliated companies that support our operations, with IT and verification providers, with professional advisers, and with regulators or law-enforcement bodies where the law obliges us or permits us to. We do not sell your personal data.

11Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, staff training, monitoring and regular testing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we act quickly and tell affected people when a breach could cause serious harm. See the Security page for what we do and what you can do.

12Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to withdraw consent, to ask us to delete data that we no longer need and, in some provinces, to receive your data in a portable format or to object to certain processing. We answer requests within the time the law sets, which is generally 30 days. Write to [email protected] to make a request, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

13Service providers

We use third parties to host the website, send email, verify identity, process payments and provide customer support tools. Each of them receives only the data it needs to do its job, may not use it for its own purposes and must keep it confidential.

14Analytics

We may use analytics tools to learn how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited most and where people leave. Where we use them, the reports are aggregated and are not used to make decisions about you individually. You can limit analytics through your browser settings.

15Advertising and retargeting

We may show advertisements about TradeX AI on other websites. Where this uses cookies or similar technologies, it happens only with your consent where the law requires it, and you can opt out through your browser or through the advertising platform's own settings.

16Links to other websites

Our website links to third-party sites. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data. We suggest that you read the privacy notice of every site you visit.

17Children's privacy

Our services are for adults and are not directed at anyone under the age of majority in their province. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us data, please tell us.

18Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date of the latest change visible in your browser's record of the page, and we will notify registered clients of significant changes by email.

19Contact us
